We are pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new feature for The World Almanac® Online – the Special Feature Widget.

The new Special Feature Widget makes it easy to increase awareness and usage of The World Almanac® Online by embedding the special home page feature on your Web page. Simply click on the Embed Special Feature link located below the Special Feature box on The World Almanac® Online home page, copy the code, and paste it into the body of the html code of your Web page. The link in the embedded widget provides direct access to The World Almanac® Online special home page feature and the rest of the site once the user logs in.

The story that displays within the widget will change every time a new Special Feature is highlighted on The World Almanac® Online home page. The school or library will not have to change anything on their website – the newest story will just display automatically.
