What is a record URL?
Kristan Halpern, Last modified by Kristan Halpern July 02 2018 01:22 PM

A record URL is a persistent link to a specific content page. Use this link in a learning management system, web page, or email to share a page in Vault Campus. Or use record URLs to bookmark specific pages in Vault Campus. Note that users who are not logged in to Vault Campus when they click on a record URL will first be prompted to log in before they are re-directed to the correct page.

You will find the record URL for a page at the bottom of the page in Vault Campus.

Note: Record URLs do not work correctly in some versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint because these versions interfere with the Vault Campus authentication process. If a user clicks a record URL, the URL will not re-direct correctly. As a possible workaround for Word documents, try saving the document as a PDF.
